2011 Goals for Benton County Farm Bureau:
1. Seek to retain current members and gain new
members for our organization.
2. Provide opportunities for engagement in
important local, state, and/or national issues
to help influence positive outcomes for
agriculture.
3. Involve more members in BCFB in volunteer
roles.
4. Increase the number of opportunities for
youth to connect with BCFB.
5. Enhance the image and appreciation of
agriculture through the use of traditional
media, public education, and relationship
building.
Benton County is a member of Indiana Farm Bureau District 3. The counties that make up this group are Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Jasper, Newton, Tippecanoe, and White. This group of eight counties meet several times during the year for leadership training, policy development, issue-related forums, meetings with Indiana Farm Bureau state officers, and our county, district, and area government officials.
